POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the direction of the Manager, Animal Care & Facilities or designee, the Animal Care Facilities Supervisor assists with the management of the physical animal care facilities and directs all animal husbandry and care activities in one or more assigned animal research facilities.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:  Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Research Laboratory Technician I, performs a variety of specimen preparatory techniques, dry lab data collection, and routine laboratory maintenance.    

Under the direction of Associate Vice Chancellor of Grants and Contracts Administration, Manager, Research Contracts is responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating research-related agreements on behalf of the institution. This position requires strong knowledge of contract negotiation practices and research administration. The manager will work closely with principal investigators, staff, sponsors, and collaborating institutions to ensure timely, compliant, and effective agreements that support the institution’s research mission.

POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the general direction of the Assoc Director, Clinical Research Revenue Recovery & Billing or designee, the Clinical Research Operations Analyst is responsible for various operational  and finance functions associated with the timely, compliant execution of UMMS clinical research activities.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the general direction of the Principal Investigator, or designee, the Senior Research Program Manager oversees the application, implementation, progress, and evaluation of complex multi-year, multi-site research projects. POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the general direction of the Sr. Director, Facilities Administration and Operations the Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing – Power Plant will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the contracts and procurement activities for the Power Plant team.  Provides general direction to and review of staff in the finance and accounting area within the context and approval of university standards.  Position will be responsible for preparing compliance reports to local, state and Federal agencies.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:   This is a benefited position that is funded through an Interagency Service Agreement (ISA) with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) and the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School (UMass Chan).
