POSITION SUMMARY:   Under the supervision of the Animal Facility Supervisor or Designee, the Animal Care Technician performs a variety of duties related to the care of laboratory animals. Primary responsibilities are to maintain a clean and healthy environment for laboratory animals and observe animals for their general health and well- being.  The position is considered essential, and as such requires weekend, holiday and off hour’s coverage as needed.

NHPRR is the premier research group developing and manufacturing biologics (mainly antibodies) specifically designed for studies with nonhuman primate models of human disease.   The successful candidate will join a growing resource with 25 years of experience, delivering products to 1000 research laboratories, representing 22 countries, and supporting over 3,600 grants. The Associate Director of Biomanufacturing Process Development will bring critical specific expertise in developing and executing biomanufacturing production processes for primate antibodies. The ideal candidate will hire, train, and manage a team of five operating a biomanufacturing service that covers processes in cell line development, bioreactor operations (1L, 1L, 20L), downstream purification, analytics, quality studies, and reporting. Additionally, the successful candidate will conduct and oversee the operation excellence, external contract manufacturing, and report to the Program Manager, Director, Clients, Government, and UMass Chan leadership.

The Associate Medical Director (AMD) for MassHealth’s Office of Long Term Services & Supports (OLTSS), under the direction of the Director of the Office of Clinical Affairs (OCA) or designee, is responsible for providing clinical expertise to OCA and to the MassHealth program staff in the areas of LTSS. MassHealth, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Program, through its Office of LTSS (OLTSS) provides coverage for a robust broad system of care for members of all ages who need long-term care services to enable them to live with independence and dignity in their daily lives, participate in their communities, and increase their overall quality of life. The AMD will serve as a clinical leader and resource for OCA and EOHHS programs and MassHealth providers to deliver optimal value by improving the quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and appropriateness anchored on the principles of independent living and person-centered care delivered to MassHealth members. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Operation or designee, the Academic Programs and Training Manager will be charged with managing membership services, training, educational and research projects, and events including an annual conference in support of the Academic Consortium on Criminal Justice Health (ACCJH). This a large association of academics, policy makers, health care practitioners, criminal justice administrators and students, committed to the mission of advancing the science and practice of health care for individuals and populations within the criminal justice system. The Manager will provide analysis and support for projects, administration, and general operations for ACCJH. The Manager will also assist with the day-to-day operations of academic programs including administrative, program enrollment, reporting and information systems/technology functions as related to multi-year contracts/agreements. The Manager will assist the Senior Director of Operations in leading and documenting academic and training activities, and may lead sub-components of a project.
