GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Reporting to the Facility Medical Director, the psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) provides comprehensive behavioral health care to adult patients in either an inpatient or outpatient setting. The patient population served consists of adults with chronic and persistent mental health conditions served by the state’s mental health authority. Patients have complex bio-psycho-social needs and may be forensically involved.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Nonhuman Primate Reagent Resource (NHPRR) under Diogo Magnani of the UMass Chan Medical School is looking for a full-time Associate Director to support the mission and establishment of a new preclinical biomanufacturing production core. NHPRR is a vibrant research and product development environment with close links to top academic, nonprofit, and industrial institutions worldwide. NHPRR is the premier research group developing and manufacturing biologics (mainly antibodies) specifically designed for studies with nonhuman primate models of human disease.
The successful candidate will join a growing resource with 25 years of experience, delivering products to 1000 research laboratories, representing 22 countries, and supporting over 3,600 grants. The Associate Director of Biomanufacturing Process Development will bring critical specific expertise in developing and executing biomanufacturing production processes for primate antibodies. The ideal candidate will hire, train, and manage a team of five operating a biomanufacturing service that covers processes in cell line development, bioreactor operations (1L, 1L, 20L), downstream purification, analytics, quality studies, and reporting. Additionally, the successful candidate will conduct and oversee the operation excellence, external contract manufacturing, and report to the Program Manager, Director, Clients, Government, and UMass Chan leadership.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director and the Director of the Office of WellBeing (OWB) the OWB Administrator supports the mission of the department, coordinates and performs a full range of advanced level, complex confidential responsibilities, and administrative duties independently and with minimal direction. The position of OWB Administrator provides a critical role for the Office of Well-Being and Employee Assistance Program and UMass Chan employees. The administrator is front facing for EAP clients by conducting the confidential triage/screening, intake process, pairing counselors with clients, monitoring safety of clients, and supporting the day-to-day financial obligations required of the office. The Administrator is critical to appropriately triage mental health crisis, substance misuse, domestic violence, and workplace crisis interventions. This position maintains staff calendars, schedules clients, meets with vendors, and processes the emergency assistance fund grant applications. This position is a central access point to interface with often emotionally distressed employees, potentially resulting in high-risk critical situations.

This internship program will begin Monday June 3rd and will end Friday, August 9th. The pay is $16-$17 an hour and the position is expected to be full-time over those 10 weeks. This will be a hybrid internship with mandatory in person sessions that are part of the program once a week.

General Summary of Position
The UMass Chan Medical School Office of Advancement seeks a summer intern who is interested in learning from an experienced team of fundraising and philanthropy professionals and contributing to the office’s success in raising critical funds. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys researching individuals and organizations, writing for different audiences, and who will be enthusiastic about learning how a professional fundraising team fulfills its mission. The Facilities Materials Coordinator is responsible for generating all bid lists and interacting with Purchasing, until completion, on all bids. These include plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting refrigeration and construction items, including all tools used by all trades.

Under the direct supervision of Lab Management, the Lab Analyst I performs laboratory assays for the timely detection of newborn disorders. The Lab Analyst I maintains competency in high complexity testing (as defined by CLIA) in all laboratory methodologies of the section. The analyst performs other related laboratory tasks in support of laboratory management. Responsibilities include careful adherence to established laboratory protocols, or specific directives of appropriate laboratory managers. This is an entry level laboratory position that will receive a high level of direction and supervision to perform assigned work.

This position ensures that eligible individuals are referred to and receive appropriate services based on medical necessity determinations and program/waiver regulations.
FOR NH POSITIONS:
Under the general supervision of the Associate Director, or designee, the Nurse Reviewer II is responsible for assessing clinical eligibility, including nursing facility level of care determinations and pre-admission screening resident reviews by conducting face to face evaluation and reviewing nursing facility medical records. This position ensures that eligible individuals are referred to and receive appropriate services based on medical necessity determinations and program regulations. This position is based in New Hampshire.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) or designee, the Clinical Research Coordinator I is responsible for independently performing delegated tasks and procedures involving human subject research. This work includes coordination of regulatory activities and aspects of collection and management of data for research protocols related to treatment, ancillary services, and prevention practices.
Under the general direction of the Executive Director or designee, the Program Manager (PM) is responsible for supporting enterprise-wide projects. The PM will assist the Director in leading and documenting project activities, and may lead sub-components of a project. The PM is also responsible for planning and coordinating project related activities of small and medium size projects that will vary in scope including the management of resources in a matrix environment. The Program Manager will collaborate closely with contracted partners, and clients to lead projects to improve outcomes for child and youth served by our partner organizations. The Program Manager will develop and implement projects while adhering to ForHealth Consulting/UMass Chan Medical School's Project Management guidelines.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Director or designee, the Project Coordinator I provides analysis and support for projects, administrative, and general operations. Responsible for independent action on multiple projects as assigned. Tasks vary according to the priorities of the department.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Associate Director or designee, the Sponsored Programs Administrator - Team Lead provides program support to principal investigators, administrators and staff regarding the timely completion of required documents for institutional approval of sponsored programs applications. The Sponsored Programs Administrator - Team Lead will also provide direction and assistance to internal, external staff and sponsors, in all sponsored programs processes while adhering to sponsor, institutional, state, and federal guidelines. Additionally, the Sponsored Programs Administrator - Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the work of a group of Sponsored Program Administrators, managing their workloads, providing training and capacity building on best practices, and troubleshooting issues the Team Members may face.
