SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Lab Analyst III maintains competency in high complexity testing (as defined by CLIA) in all laboratory methodologies of the section. The Lab Analyst III performs other related laboratory tasks in support of laboratory management. Responsibilities include careful adherence to established laboratory protocols, as well as projects under the direction of laboratory managers. This position is expected to perform work with little, or sometimes no direct supervision and is expected to train more junior staff.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction and in collaboration with the Principal Investigator, the PIPS Practice/Research/Policy Analyst will lead and implement the research, technical support and consulting activities of the Program for Improvement of Public Sector Health at the Shriver Center at UMass Chan Medical School. This position requires a PhD in nursing, medicine, health services research, psychology, social work, or a related field and at least five combined years of experience in research and clinical care. Teaching experience preferred.
