GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Research Laboratory Technician I, performs a variety of specimen preparatory techniques, dry lab data collection, and routine laboratory maintenance.
Under the direction of Associate Vice Chancellor of Grants and Contracts Administration, Manager, Research Contracts is responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating research-related agreements on behalf of the institution. This position requires strong knowledge of contract negotiation practices and research administration. The manager will work closely with principal investigators, staff, sponsors, and collaborating institutions to ensure timely, compliant, and effective agreements that support the institution’s research mission.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This is a benefited position that is funded through an Interagency Service Agreement (ISA) with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) and the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School (UMass Chan). Medicare Premium Assistance, also known as Medicare Buy-In, is a federal program that allows states to pay all or part of monthly Medicare premiums and cost sharing for eligible Medicare beneficiaries who meet income and asset guidelines. The Medicare Premium Assistance Unit within the Medicare Eligibility Enhancement Programs at Health Care Finance Solutions (HCFS) administers this program for the Massachusetts Medicaid program, MassHealth.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Admissions Office at the T.H. Chan School of Medicine at UMass Chan Medical School seeks a part-time, seasonal admissions application reader. The purpose of the reader is to review applications online and complete an objective, structured assessment form.
