We are a young, dynamic group looking for highly motivated post-doctoral fellows with research interests in host genetics and viral interactions in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). We develop inter-disciplinary methods including experimental techniques and technology development around hiPSCs from AD patients, as well as computational and statistical genetics/genomics methods. Ideal candidates have strong backgrounds in human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) and neuronal differentiation, and experience with flow cytometry, FACS sorting and CRISPR/Cas9 editing. Candidates with strong backgrounds in quantitative human genetics and genomics, bioinformatics or computational biology, and who are interested in learning experimental techniques and technologies to complement their quantitative backgrounds, are also highly encouraged to apply.
Interested candidates should email a cover letter, CV, and 3 references to: Elaine Lim at Elaine.Lim@umassmed.edu
