POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Director or designee, the Pharmacy Associate II will function as a team member for the client programs within Clinical Pharmacy Services (CPS). CPS is responsible for administering client specific programs to provide clinical expertise regarding our member’s medications. This position will handle calls to and from members, prescribers and pharmacists, as well as provide and obtain information regarding client specific initiatives. The incumbent of this position will also assist in the sorting and review of medication prior authorization requests, under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
The hours for this position will be from 12:30pm - 9:00pm.
