The Li Lab has a broad interest in basic molecular mechanisms underlying the brain function. Using Drosophila as the primary genetic model, the lab is currently investigating how glial cells regulate neuronal signaling, as well as exploring neuronal functions of Ca2+/Calmodulin-binding transcription activators (CAMTA). Now we are recruiting motivated postdoctoral fellows to study these topics in both fly and mouse.
Candidates for this position are expected to have strong experience in molecular cloning, neuronal cell culture, and in mouse or fly genetics. Training on electrophysiology is a plus.
Interested candidates should email a cover letter, CV, and 3 references to Hong-Sheng.Li@umassmed.edu
