Under the supervision of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Management and Chief of Staff, the Special Assistant to the Chancellor serves in an important and impactful support role within the Office of the Chancellor. As the primary driver for, and personal aide to, the UMMS Chancellor, the Special Assistant is entrusted with coordinating, facilitating and executing the Chancellor’s daily schedule. Given the outward-facing nature of this role, the Special Assistant also acts as a visible representative of, and ambassador for, the Office of the Chancellor to key internal and external constituencies.
