  • Overview



    Under the general direction of the Managing Director, Business Transformation Solutions (BTS) division, this position provides overall, hands-on business analysis on a wide range of initiatives. The Business Analyst main activities will include requirements solicitation, detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, user acceptance testing, leading post project review and project governance.



    • Conduct requirements analysis, validation and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable. 
    • Requirements are elicited using interviews, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, and task and workflow analysis. 
    • Work with stakeholders and project team to develop and implement solutions.
    • Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project. 
    • Manage changes to requirements through effective use of change control processes and tools.
    • Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts.
    • Assist in enforcement of project deadlines, schedules, and methodologies.
    • Perform data analysis using available tools and publish/ design reports as requested.
    • Develop workflows, use case diagrams, flowcharts, and other analysis-type documentation. 
    • Perform industry research to clarify, define, or satisfy technology or business process issues.
    • Monitor and manage project scope and enforce change management.
    • Identify, document, and resolve project issues.
    • Develop contingency plans where appropriate.
    • Set and continuously manage project team and client expectations.
    • Participate in post project evaluation including a root cause analysis of significant opportunities for improvement. Imbed key learnings into process for future projects.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.



    • Bachelor’s Degree in business, information technology or related field
    • 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in analytics or technology
    • Experience in business case development
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio
    • Proficient in critical thinking and problem solving
    • Must have a natural analytical mindset and be able to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to interact effectively with different business departments, team members, and external clients at all levels.
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive results.
    • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.
    • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
    • Ability to travel.


    • Experience as an external consultant.
    • Technical writing skills.
