GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the general direction of the Department Chair or designee, the Academic Administrator IV is responsible for planning and managing the administrative and business affairs of a large, complex department which includes education, research, and service.
The Program in Molecular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School was established in 1989 to bring together faculty representing diverse disciplines in the biomedical sciences. Our faculty include both clinical investigators and basic scientists, many of who focus their research on human disease processes. These laboratories are making exciting advances in many areas of biology and medicine, leading to insights that have been translated into novel medicines and therapies to improve the lives of many.
