GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Seeking a laboratory technician to perform immunological studies using mouse models of cutaneous lupus.
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Research Laboratory Technician I, performs a variety of specimen preparatory techniques, dry lab data collection, and routine laboratory maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience performing the following assays and techniques, which are required of this project:

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Wet chemistry laboratory, and may require appropriate contact with biohazards, radionuclides, toxins, animals, and human specimens.
Additional duties will include photography of the cutaneous lupus lesions, and disease scoring analysis.
This position also has the opportunity to perform translational research using flow cytometry analysis of human skin and blood samples.
