  • Overview

    GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION

    Reporting to the Director, National Market Development, the Sales Coordinator supports the development and execution of business development pipeline activities through the coordination of sales activities with the Strategic Growth & Business Development team, internal business line leaders, and collaborator organizations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Participate in direct lead outreach, sales presentation development support, sales research, Salesforce follow up, data quality maintenance and report generation, internal and external information coordination.

    Responsibilities

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Outreach                                                              

    • Participate in direct outreach to leads including through pardot email campaigns, telephone calls,
    • Support the development of sales presentations by taking the lead on organizing the necessary resources to develop high quality presentations and coordinating lay-out, graphics, and visuals with Marketing Communications.                                        
    • Assist in gathering key information to expedite the sales process, proposal development and contract closure.                                
    • Conduct research on potential clients, industry groups and potential channel partners to understand their operational, legal, and organizational capabilities and challenges.
    • Validate and update sales pipeline, financial and demographic information maintained in Salesforce and other CRM systems.

     

    Monitoring                                                          

    • Conduct periodic data quality monitoring and data “clean-up” with sales data
    • Run routine reports for Sales & Marketing from Salesforce, Pardot or related pipeline management system
    • Coordinate response to inquiries and content development with other internal operational departments (Compliance, Finance, Information Technology, and Marketing Communications) and business line leads and staff                
    • Conduct win/loss interviews and analysis with internal and external customers

     

    Sales/Marketing

    • Respond to Marketing/Sales support questions for Salesforce from internal staff
    • Manage Pardot and Salesforce generated follow up including phone calls and emails

     

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:                                                               

    • Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent experience in business, public administration, or related field; or equivalent related experience.
    • 2- 8 years of experience in health care or related field.
    • Experience in a financial and/or project management environment with exposure to project planning, modeling, budgeting and cost benefit analysis
    • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and re-prioritize as necessary.
    • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and ability to research, evaluate and manage software applications for identified business needs.
    • Demonstrated successful experience working in a fast-paced, sophisticated, complex, entrepreneurial, and highly matrixed organization.
    • Demonstrated experience in computer based tools, including spreadsheets, database management, and word processing.
    • Previous project management experience.
    • Detail oriented

    Additional Information

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:                                                            

    General knowledge of the healthcare system, health policy and Medicare and Medicaid payment systems.
