  • Overview

    Temprite Services is a division within the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Human Resources, which offers various levels of temporary support for departments within the institution as well as our affiliates.

     

    Numerous opportunities available:  Temporary 40 hour a week positions; Temporary 20 hour a week positions

    Responsibilities

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsibility for ensuring that all new students complete all appointment requirements, working closely with external agencies and institutions as well as UMMS and UMass Memorial departments
    • Creates and maintains office procedures and tracking systems
    • Serves as primary liaison with individual residency and fellowship program coordinators.   
    • Serves as key contact with several Medical School and clinical system departments including HR Data Group, UMMS Benefits, Payroll, Employee Health, Continuing Education, School and Clinical Information Services, and the Medical Staff Office. 
    • Serves as the primary liaison with Instructional Technology Office to develop and support on-line core curriculum and course development. Enrolls residents and monitors course completion.   Prepares reports for  individual programs.
    • Maintains confidential and highly sensitive personnel records on current and past students.  Prepares reports and correspondence related to highly confidential materials.  Recommends modifications, as needed to various evaluation procedures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

     

     

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • 2 years administrative experience; experience in a health care or academic setting preferred
    • Outstanding computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Access) and ability to effectively utilize additional programs
    • Exceptionally strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
    • Strong organizational skills, problem solving skills, creativity, and ability to multi-task
