Under the general direction of the Principal Investigator or designee, the Research Associate II performs a variety of complex research experiments and is responsible for overseeing laboratory operations within the Department.

Wet chemistry laboratory, and may require appropriate contact with biohazards, radionuclides, toxins, animals, and human specimens
The Diabetes Center of Excellence at The University of Massachusetts Medical School is seeking a talented and motivated individual to aid in immunologically-based characterization of human tissue donor samples.
Applicants should have a B.S., at least >10 years experience in flow cytometry in academia and/or industry, courses in advanced flow cytometry, a track-record of designing, running and analyzing higher dimensional flow cytometry, familiarity BD cell sorters and software, and a publication record in a peer-reviewed journals. We seek an individual who is highly motivated, with a strong work ethic, and excellent flow cytometry skills.
